Stand-up shows by Los Angeles comedian and actor Denny Love, known for 'Looking for Alaska' and 'Mayor of Kingstown', at Wiseguys Comedy Club.
Denny Love is bringing his stand-up to Wiseguys Comedy Club - Downtown SLC on Friday, November 6, and Saturday, November 7, with two shows each night at 7 PM and 9:30 PM. If you've never seen him, he's a Los Angeles-based actor and comedian whose work sits across prestige TV, live comedy, and viral digital culture.
Love is a DePaul University Theatre School alumnus who first broke through with a standout performance in Hulu's Looking for Alaska, a critically acclaimed series that earned a 92% Rotten Tomatoes rating. From there he moved into Taylor Sheridan's Paramount+ drama Mayor of Kingstown, appearing in two seasons. This run at Wiseguys is a stand-up set, so it's a different side of the work than the scripted roles you'll find on screen.
The shows are presented by Wiseguys Comedy Club - Salt Lake City, the newest addition to a locally owned chain that's been booking live stand-up since it first opened in 2001. Over the years it's hosted a who's who of comedic greats and has a reputation among audiences and comics as one of the best clubs in the country for bringing the nation's top comedians to Utah.
