Over-21s reading of Davide De Pierro's novel 'The Letters I Never Sent' followed by a Q&A, with limited meet-and-greet add-ons.
Davide De Pierro is coming to The Showroom @ The Gateway on Sunday, October 18, for a night that's a bit different from what you might expect from him. He'll be reading excerpts from his novel, The Letters I Never Sent, with an audience Q&A to follow. The reading starts at 6 PM.
If you've come across him on your phone, you probably know him from TikTok and Instagram, where he's built an audience of more than 3 million followers and 2.6 million, respectively. He's made a name for himself with commentary on relationships, finances, and those kinds of relatable moments that tend to hit home for a lot of people. This reading is him moving into a new medium, trading the short-form screen for the page.
With the Q&A afterward, you'll get a chance to hear him talk about the book and the process behind it, rather than just listening to the reading. It's a good way to see how the voice you recognize from social media translates to a full-length novel.
