Hands-on cocktail and craft class with a guided mixology lesson and a mirrored crescent-moon wall hanging to take home.
Cocktail Collective is hosting Crafts & Cocktails: Disco Moons on Sunday, October 25, from 12 PM to 2 PM at their space in Salt Lake City. It's a two-part session that pairs a cocktail class with a craft project, so you walk away with both a new skill and something to hang on your wall.
The day starts with a guided cocktail lesson led by a professional mixologist. You'll get a look at how the drinks are put together rather than just sipping them, and the session is designed for people who want to learn the technique. After the drinks are sorted, the focus shifts to the craft: making a small, mirrored crescent-moon wall hanging. It's a piece that blends disco-ball energy with lunar magic, and it comes finished with chain-and-hook hardware so it's ready to hang as soon as you get it home.
Behind the whole thing is Cocktail Collective, a small, Black, woman-owned business that specializes in educational cocktail and spirit sessions run by industry professionals. They're the ones organizing the day, and the mixologist leading the class comes from that same professional background.
