Mexican Regional concert by Cornelio Vega y Su Dinastia, with La Diferencia and Los Del Firmamento, at the 801 Event Center.
Cornelio Vega y Su Dinastia play the 801 Event Center on Friday, October 23, with La Diferencia and Los Del Firmamento opening. The show is presented by El G-fe Entertainment and is open to all ages, so it's a night that works as a family outing as much as a night out with friends.
If you're not familiar with the name, the group is built around the legacy of the singer's father, Cornelio Vega. His son now fronts the band and carries both his father's name and his following, keeping the family connection at the center of everything they do. He's built a reputation on authentic lyrics and a deep connection with his audience, and after more than a decade on stage, he's regarded as one of the most promising and respected icons of the Mexican Regional genre.
It's a full bill, too. La Diferencia and Los Del Firmamento both open for the main act, so you'll get a whole evening of music rather than just one set. The show starts at 8 PM at the 801 Event Center, 1055 W North Temple St in Salt Lake City.
