Five-week course for creative small business owners on money-smart strategies and financing, presented by Celtic Bank.
Craft Lake City is running a five-week business course for creative small business owners and entrepreneurs this fall, and the next session, Financing the Future, is on Tuesday, November 3. It's part of their Business Academy, and this particular class is presented by Celtic Bank, so the whole thing is built around the money side of running a creative business.
The course runs on Tuesdays from October 20 through November 17, from 4 PM to 5:30 PM, with the November 3 session falling right in the middle. Over those five weeks, the focus is on money-smart strategies to grow a creative business, building your business knowledge, exploring financing resources, and preparing for future growth. It's taught by experienced professionals and includes insights from successful Craft Lake City alumni, so you're getting a mix of professional advice and real-world examples from people who've actually done it.
Craft Lake City is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that works to educate, promote, and inspire local artisans while elevating the creative culture of the Utah arts community through science, technology, and art. They run community craft workshops year-round, taught by some of the state's top artisans, so this academy fits right in with what they do. The Business Academy is specifically for creative small business owners and entrepreneurs, so it's geared toward people who make a living from their craft rather than a general business crowd.
