Book Club Social with Lovebound Library

Lovebound Library is hosting a book club social at HK Brewing Co Taproom & Bar on Tuesday, November 3, from 6 to 9 PM. The whole night is built around A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR), the fantasy romance series, and it's set up as a casual get-together rather than a formal meeting. There's no assigned reading and no structured discussion, so you can just show up and hang out with other readers without having to be caught up on a specific chapter.

Lovebound Library will have a pop-up on-site where you can browse books and ACOTAR merchandise. To go with the theme, the bar is serving ACOTAR-themed cocktails, including a zero-proof option for those not drinking. Everyone who stops by gets a free limited-edition Book Club Social sticker, designed by local artist Sarah Beth Timmons in collaboration with the brewery and the library.

It's a good fit for the venue, too. HK Brewing Co is Salt Lake City's first kombucha brewery and a women-owned bar. Beyond the themed drinks, they serve craft cocktails, local beer, wine, and small bites. Their house-made, small-batch Han's Kombucha earned them a Best N/A Cocktails in Utah 24-25 vote, and the taproom runs monthly kombucha brewery tours.

The social runs from 6 to 9 PM on Tuesday, November 3, at HK Brewing Co Taproom & Bar, 370 Aspen Ave, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. It's free to attend, and you'll need to be 21 or older.
