NHL ice hockey match between the Winnipeg Jets and the Stanley Cup-winning Carolina Hurricanes at the Lenovo Center.
The Winnipeg Jets take on the Carolina Hurricanes at the Lenovo Center on Sunday, November 1, with puck drop at 1:00 PM. It's a Sunday afternoon game, so it's one of those that doesn't eat into your whole weekend—you're in and out by mid-afternoon, which makes it an easy one to fit in if you've got other plans that day.
The Hurricanes come into this as Stanley Cup Champions, and they'll be hosting the Jets at the Lenovo Center in West Raleigh. The arena is known for its lively atmosphere and for staging thrilling sports events, so it should be a loud one, especially with the home crowd behind them. If you're planning to be there, keep in mind that doors open at 11:30 AM, well ahead of the 1:00 PM start, so you've got plenty of time to get settled before the game gets underway.
There are a couple of practical things to have on your radar before you head out. The arena runs a strict bag policy: only bags 4.5" x 6.5" or smaller are permitted, so leave the larger bags at home. If you're driving, the parking lots open at 10:00 AM, and you'll need a mobile parking pass through ParkWhiz to get in. Between the early parking and the 11:30 AM doors, you can arrive as early as you like and still have time to kill before the first period starts.
