TR Sings...Rockin' Christmas

TR Sings...Rockin' Christmas comes to the Cabaret Theatre at Theatre Raleigh on Sunday, December 20, 2026. It's part of the TR Sings concert series, and this particular night is built around a rock-inspired take on Christmas music.

The program mixes classic holiday songs with more modern ones, and the rock twist is the whole point here. Rather than the usual choir or orchestral arrangements you find this time of year, the set is high-energy and leans into the electric side of things. It's the kind of show that works better if you're in the mood for something with a bit of kick to it than if you're looking for a quiet evening of carols.

Because it's on the Cabaret stage, it's a closer, more intimate setting than the main house at Theatre Raleigh. That puts the music right in front of you, and the rock arrangements tend to fill a room like that pretty quickly. If you've been to TR Sings before, you know the format: a focused concert rather than a full theatrical production, with the music taking center stage.

The show starts at 7 PM on Sunday, December 20, at the Cabaret Theatre inside the Theatre Raleigh Arts Center in downtown Raleigh.
