The Movement with special guest Mike Love

The Movement are playing the Lincoln Theatre on Thursday, March 11, 2027. They'll be joined by special guest Mike Love, who opens the night. The show starts at 7:30 PM.

If you're not familiar with the name, The Movement is a jam band that blends funk, rock, and improvisational play, and they've spent years building a following around their live shows. They're known for taking a song and stretching it out, letting the jam breathe and change every time they play it, so the setlist usually feels more like a conversation than a rehearsed sequence. It's the kind of show where the songs you know are just the starting point for where the night actually goes.

Mike Love, the Beach Boys co-founder, is the special guest on the bill. He'll be performing before The Movement takes the stage, so the evening brings together two very different eras of California-influenced sound under one roof. Between the two acts, you'll get a full night of music in a single trip downtown.

The Lincoln Theatre is at 126 E. Cabarrus St in Raleigh. The show is on a Thursday night, March 11, with music starting at 7:30 PM.
