A walking tour of sustainable features on Centennial Campus led by Carson Pruitt from the University Sustainability Office.
Carson Pruitt from the University Sustainability Office is leading a Sustainability Stroll on Centennial Campus this Thursday, October 15. It's a walking tour of the sustainable features built into the campus, and Pruitt will be the one pointing them out and explaining how they work as you go.
The walk starts at the Plant Sciences Building on Centennial Campus, part of NC State University here in Raleigh. From there, you'll head out across the campus to see the specific sustainable elements they've put in place. It's not a sit-down presentation; you'll be on your feet, moving from one feature to the next and hearing about them in the spots where they're actually installed.
The tour is run by the University Sustainability Office, which was set up in April 2008 to serve as a centralized resource for sustainability information and action for students, faculty, and staff. That's the group behind the stroll, and Pruitt is leading it on their behalf.
