Canadian outlaw country troubadour Orville Peck performs live on his Man Turned Mule Tour at The Ritz in Raleigh.
Orville Peck brings the Man Turned Mule Tour to The Ritz in Midtown Raleigh on Saturday, November 14, 2026. It's a single-bill night with Peck as the only act on the marquee.
If you're not familiar, Peck is a Canadian outlaw country troubadour who first stepped out in 2017. He's known for performing and being photographed exclusively in one of his fringed masks, a look that's become as much a part of the act as the music. He signed to the independent label Sub Pop, which put out his twelve-song debut album Pony in 2019. That record made enough of an impact to land on the long list for the Polaris Prize less than two months after it came out.
Since then, he's toured with the Toronto post-punk band the Frigs and played festivals like Austin City Limits, Hopscotch here in North Carolina, AmericanaFest in Nashville, and Iceland Airwaves. He's cited Johnny Cash, X, and Neil Young as influences, and you can hear those threads running through his work—the country tradition of Cash, the raw edge of X, and the songwriting of Young.
