Band Together's annual benefit concert celebrating 25 years of music, community and philanthropy, featuring JJ Grey & Mofro.
JJ Grey & Mofro headline the Lincoln Theatre Outdoor Stage on Saturday, October 10, for Band Together's annual benefit concert, the Mighty Giveback. The bill runs from 5 PM to 11 PM, with The 502s and Boom Unit Brass Band opening for Grey. It's an outdoor show in downtown Raleigh, at 126 East Cabarrus Street.
This is the 25th year of the Mighty Giveback, and it's the largest benefit concert of its kind in the Southeast. It didn't start as a concert series; it began as a one-time fundraiser to help New York City firefighters after the September 11, 2001 attacks. From there it grew into an annual event that pairs live music with social change. Since 2001, Band Together has raised more than $15.4 million for over 160 charitable organizations across the Greater Raleigh area. Past headliners have included The B-52's, Lyle Lovett, Michael Franti & Spearhead, and Jason Isbell.

The others are community partners Oak City Cares and PORCH Communities. The night runs from 5 PM to 11 PM at the Lincoln Theatre Outdoor Stage, 126 East Cabarrus Street, downtown Raleigh.
