A jazz performance by the trio Workbook as part of the monthly Jazz Sundays series at the Incendiary Brewing Taproom.
Workbook are back at Incendiary Brewing Taproom on Sunday, October 11, for another installment of Jazz Sundays. It's a recurring series presented by the band themselves, and they play every second Sunday of the month, so if you miss this one, you can find them back in the same spot a few weeks later.
Workbook is a Durham-based jazz trio, and they're the ones who put the whole series together. The host, Incendiary Brewing Taproom, is a Winston-Salem craft beer taproom with its Raleigh home in the Glenwood South district downtown. That puts the show right in the middle of one of the city's busiest neighborhoods, so it's easy to get to whether you're coming from downtown or driving in from the outskirts.
Because it's a recurring thing, it's a low-stakes way to catch some live jazz on a Sunday afternoon. You don't have to plan your whole day around it—you can just drop in for a drink and stay for a set, or make it the main event. And since it's the second Sunday of every month, it's a date that stays the same, which makes it easy to keep on your radar.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Raleigh and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

The music runs from 2 PM to 5 PM, and admission is free. That means you can spend your afternoon with a trio playing live jazz in the Glenwood South district without spending a dime on the door. If you're around on Sunday, October 11, you'll find them at Incendiary Brewing Taproom, 612 W Morgan St, Raleigh, NC 27603.
