Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country

Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country plays the Lincoln Theatre on Friday, January 29, 2027. It's a single-bill night, with Donato as the sole feature on the marquee.

If you've followed him for a while, you know the name is as much a description as it is a title. Donato's whole thing is built around that cosmic country sound—country music that's been stretched out and loosened up, with a lot of room for the guitar to wander. It's the kind of set that doesn't just run through a list of songs and call it a night; the jams are as much a part of the show as the melodies they come from. The billing as "Cosmic Country" tells you exactly what to expect: country music with a psychedelic, improvisational streak running through it.

This is a headlining date, so the whole evening is built around his set. There's no opening act to work through first, and no shared bill to split the time with—just Donato and his band taking the full slot. If you're coming for the guitar work, that's where the focus stays.

Doors open at 7 PM, and the show starts at 8 PM. Tickets are $32.25 for the artist presale, the local presale, and the general advance, and they go up to $37.25 on the day of the show. Presale starts October 20, so you can get yours in early rather than waiting for the door.
