Concert by Daily Bread (Rhett Whatley) on the Vanishing Point Tour, fusing vintage soul, hip-hop and bass-forward production.
Daily Bread plays The Ritz on Friday, December 18, as part of the Vanishing Point Tour. Daily Bread is the stage name of Rhett Whatley, an Atlanta producer and multi-instrumentalist who blends vintage soul, gritty hip-hop, and bass-forward production, all rooted in jazz guitar and crate-digging. He first made a name for himself with On The Daily and has since become a defining voice in the modern bass and electro-soul landscape. His 2023 record Invisible Cinema marked a pivotal new chapter, and his 2024 mixtape Flash Flood II has drawn over 7.5 million listens on SoundCloud.
Whatley's live momentum has built steadily over the last couple of years. He played a sold-out Red Rocks show in October 2024, followed by a 27-date North American Flash Flood Tour in 2025 and back-to-back New Year's Eve shows at The Eastern in Atlanta. The Raleigh date is one stop on the Vanishing Point Tour, which runs from November 5 to December 30, 2026, across 26 cities and 30 shows. He's also partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket goes to organizations working for equity, access, and dignity.
