A social running group meets at Crank Arm Brewing for group runs of 2, 3 or 5 miles, open to all paces.
Crank Arm Run Club (or cRUNk Run Club, as they call it) kicks off its next stretch of Tuesday night runs at Crank Arm Brewing on October 13. It's a social group run that meets at the brewery's Raleigh taproom, open to all paces and run by the cRUNk crew. If you're just getting into running or you've been at it for years, you'll fit in here.
The Raleigh routes come in three lengths—2, 3, and 5 miles—so you can pick the distance that works for your night. The club also holds a Monday night session in Durham, so if you're around both cities, there's a run for you nearly every night of the week. They share their routes on the club's Strava page, which is handy if you want to see where you're headed before you set out.
Beyond the running, the club leans into the social side of things. You can stick around after the run for a Crank Arm beer, and the calendar is rounded out with seasonal bashes featuring local DJs, food trucks, and vendors. They also host the occasional workshop, like self-defense demos and safety panels for runners, and they regularly partner with regional running brands and organizations like the Sir Walter Miler.
