Interactive underwater adventure for very young audiences, following Fifi and Felix La Mer on a submarine mission to find the elusive Baby Shark.
Baby Shark runs at the Gaddy-Goodwin Teaching Theatre from May 12 through June 6, 2027, at Raleigh Little Theatre. It's an interactive underwater adventure built around the campfire song, written by Ernie Nolan and produced by special arrangement with Plays for New Audiences.
The story follows two eccentric sibling explorers, Fifi and Felix La Mer, who set off on a submarine mission to find the elusive Baby Shark. The audience doesn't just watch from the sidelines—everyone on board Sylvie the Submarine is welcomed as an official crew member. Along the way, you'll discover new creatures, hear a mix of new and old songs, and maybe stumble upon some lost treasure. It's a high-energy show that gets audiences young and old singing out loud.
It's specifically recommended for ages 0 to 5. In the Gaddy-Goodwin, children sit on the floor and are encouraged to move around during the performance, so it's a good fit if you've got a little one who can't stay still for long. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and assistive listening devices are available. Capacity is limited to 50 attendees per show, so it stays a small, intimate room.
