A gentle creative art session for adults in the Greenhouse at Victoria Park, with materials and refreshments provided.
Mindful Art In The Park is back at Victoria Park on Wednesday 1 July, from 11:30 to 13:30. It's a gentle, creative art session for adults, held outdoors in the Greenhouse, tucked away among the trees, the birds, and the fresh air. The whole point is to treat it as a pause — a bit of time to step back from the noise and just be present.
There's no experience needed to join in. You don't need to be an artist or have a portfolio to your name; you just come as you are, bring a bit of curiosity, and take some time for yourself. The session is run as a weekly thing, so if you find it works for you, you can keep coming back. It's open to adults who are looking for a bit of relaxation, a spark of inspiration, or just a chance to connect with other people in a low-pressure setting.
One of the best bits is that you don't need to bring a thing. All the materials are provided, and the refreshments are on the house, so there's nothing to prep and nothing to carry. There's no booking required either — you just turn up on the day. The session runs from 11:30 to 13:30, and since it's free, you can drop in without worrying about tickets or reservations.

It's part of a weekly series that runs every Wednesday during term time, so if you can't make this one, the next session is on 8 July. The Greenhouse in Victoria Park is a peaceful spot to spend a couple of hours, and with everything provided, it's as easy as turning up. Wednesday 1 July, 11:30 to 13:30, free of charge.
