And Then There Were None

Torchlight Mysteries are bringing Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None to Wymering Manor from Wednesday 30 September to Friday 2 October, with each performance running from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. It's an immersive, site-specific production, which is a fancy way of saying you aren't sitting in a row of seats watching a stage. Instead, the story unfolds around you inside the manor house, and you move through the rooms as it happens.

The plot is one of Christie's most famous: ten strangers, each with their own deadly secrets, are brought together under a missing host. As the weather worsens, they start to be picked off one by one, and it's up to you to follow the action and try to figure out who the killer is before the end. Because it's site-specific, the production is built around the house itself, with the actors working in close quarters and the storytelling adapting to the building's architecture and history.

Torchlight Mysteries is an award-winning immersive theatre company run by Torchlight Heritage. They specialise in heritage-themed murder-mystery dinners and escape-room experiences across the South of England, usually set in period locations like country manor houses, Victorian forts and warships. Their whole thing is putting in-character actors in these old settings and giving you the chance to explore the venues after dark by torchlight. This production is presented under licence by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd on behalf of Samuel French, Ltd.
