Nashville roots pop quartet TopHouse performs live at Revolution Hall as part of their Bigger Picture Tour.
TopHouse play Revolution Hall on Friday, March 5, 2027, as part of their Bigger Picture Tour. The Portland date is one stop on a run that takes them across the country, and they're the only act on the bill.
They describe themselves as a Nashville roots pop quartet, and the set follows that: a high-energy mix of folk-pop stompers and ballads. The sound comes from a full band—guitar, violin, banjo, and piano—so you'll hear a good bit of movement between the louder, foot-tapping numbers and the slower, more stripped-back songs.
The band started in 2015 when Montana music majors Jesse Davis, on guitar and songwriting, and William Cook, on violin, teamed up. They added Joseph Larson on guitar and banjo in 2017, and pianist Andy LaFave in 2022. They built a following in Missoula, where The Missoulian named them one of the top five best new bands two years running, before they moved to Nashville in October 2019. Since then, they've played local venues and gotten airtime on Lightning 100. When they aren't touring the U.S., they settle back into Nashville life.
