Screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show with live shadow cast, costume contest, and meet & greet with Patricia Quinn.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show comes to the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on Friday, October 16, as part of a night billed as a 'Spooktacular Tim Curry Tribute.' The screening is a new 4K restoration of the cult film, and it's paired with a live shadow cast by Clinton Street Cabaret, who perform the movie's scenes on stage in front of the screen while the film plays. The guest of honor is Patricia Quinn, who played Magenta in the original production.
Audience participation is the engine of the show. Every ticket includes a bag of Rocky Horror props, and you're expected to use them throughout the screening. No outside props are permitted, so the bag is what you'll be working with. There's also a costume contest that crowns the evening, so if you've been sitting on a costume, this is the night to wear it. The screening is recommended for ages 17 and older, and minors need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
If you want more than just a seat, there's a pre-show V.I.P. Meet & Greet with Patricia Quinn. It includes a photo op, an autograph, and V.I.P. seating. Tickets are capped at eight per buyer.
