The Ike Levin Trio performs live at the Alberta Street Pub in Portland's Northeast neighborhood.
The Ike Levin Trio play Alberta Street Pub on Tuesday, October 13, with Shao-Way Wu and Chris Lee joining them on stage. It's a jazz night in Northeast Portland, and the trio is the main draw.
If you're not familiar with the spot, Alberta Street Pub has been a fixture of the neighborhood for more than 30 years. It started as Love Train and later became the Alberta Street Public House, and it's still running under the same roof. It pairs live music with locally sourced food, 21 rotating beer taps, and craft cocktails, and it's known for one of the finest patios in the city. The venue books shows seven days a week, so there's almost always something on the calendar. On Tuesdays, that includes Bridgetown Trivia on the patio; Wednesdays are for the Wednesday Night Social; and the rest of the week brings a Drag Brunch and soulful Sundays.
