Post-punk band Rosegarden Funeral Party perform live at Revolution Hall in Portland.
Rosegarden Funeral Party play Revolution Hall on Tuesday, October 13, starting at 8 PM. They're a post-punk band from Dallas, founded and fronted by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Leah Lane.
They've been putting out music steadily since 2018, when they released their first EP, The Chopping Block. Since then, they've added another EP, At the Stake (2020), and three full-length albums: Martyr (2019), In the Wake of Fire (2021), and From the Ashes (2024). That's a fair amount of material to pull from for a single set, and the most recent record is barely two years old.
Their sound blends traditional gothic sonic stylings with a modern pop sensibility, and their lyrics deal with heartbreak and healing. They've toured the US extensively, and their UK and European debut came in 2023, when they headlined the Beautiful Noise Festival in Italy and supported Skeletal Family and Corpus Delicti at Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig. Two more European tours followed in 2025.
