A gathering of the NorthWest guitar community featuring vintage, new and used guitars, amps, effect pedals, and other musical instruments for sale, trade or collection.
The Rose Quarter Guitar Show takes over the Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Sunday, November 15, from 10 AM to 3:30 PM. It's put on by West Coast Guitar Shows, and they frame it as a gathering of the Northwest guitar community. That means vintage guitar dealers, music stores, private collectors, luthiers, and makers of acoustic and electric guitars, along with amps and effect pedals, all in one room. You'll also find musicians there with their own gear to sell.
If you're going, you can buy, sell, or trade vintage, new, and used guitars and gear. You can even bring your own instrument to connect with onsite buyers and other enthusiasts. It's not just about guitars, either—the room fills with amps, effect pedals, guitar parts, vinyl records, banjos, mandolins, and ukuleles. The organizers describe it as a good time to pick up holiday gifts and accessories, which makes sense given the mid-November date.

It's a one-day thing, so if you're planning to bring something to sell or trade, you'll want to get there early. The Coliseum is at 300 N. Winning Way in Portland, and admission is $15 at the door.
