Year-round Saturday market with local food vendors, produce, meat, cheese, baked goods, flowers, prepared food and crafts at Portland State University.
The PSU Farmers Market is running every Saturday at SW Park & Montgomery through October 31, 2026. It's the flagship year-round market of the Portland Farmers Market network, one of five they run across Oregon, and it's earned a spot as one of the five best farmers markets in the US from Eating Well magazine.
On any given Saturday, you'll find around 90 local farmers and food producers gathered in the South Park Blocks. The variety covers the basics and then some: produce, meat, cheese, baked goods, flowers, prepared food, and crafts. It's the kind of place where you can pick up your weekly groceries and a few treats in one go. The grounds are dog-friendly, and there's live music playing while you shop.
If you use EBT, the market accepts it and participates in Double Up Food Bucks, which gives SNAP/EBT users a dollar-for-dollar match up to $20 per visit to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables. It's a practical way to stretch your budget on the produce side of things.

Getting there is easy. Street parking is available on SW Broadway, and the area is well-served by transit: the MAX Green, Orange, and Yellow lines, the Portland Streetcar NS and A lines, and TriMet buses 12, 17, 19, 54, and 58 all stop nearby. The market runs from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and entry is free.
