A weekly farmers market featuring local produce and food vendors on the Portland State University campus.
PSU Farmers Market is back on Saturday, November 14, at 1803 SW Park Ave on the Portland State University campus. It's the organization's year-round flagship market, set under a canopy of giant elm trees in the pedestrian-only center of the PSU campus in the South Park Blocks. On a summer Saturday it can welcome up to 9,000 shoppers and as many as 100 vendor stalls of local farmers and food producers, drawing Portland-area residents, chefs and visitors from around the world; the market averages around 90 producers every week. A weekly email reminder lists the Saturday vendors.
Getting there is easy: the site is accessible via TriMet, MAX, the Portland streetcar and bus routes. Payment is accepted in cash, credit or debit, market tokens, SNAP, Double Up Food Bucks, Produce Match and the Oregon Farm Direct Nutrition Program, with up to a $20 SNAP match.
