Portland Winterhawks vs. Kelowna Rockets

The Portland Winterhawks take on the Kelowna Rockets at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, October 31. It's a WHL regular season game, so it's part of the league's standard schedule rather than a playoff matchup.

If you're not familiar with them, the Winterhawks are Portland's junior ice hockey team, and they've won the WHL championship three times. The Rockets are coming in from Kelowna, British Columbia, so this is one of those cross-border matchups that pop up throughout the season. It's a regular game on the calendar, but it's a good chance to see the team in action at home.

The game is described as a night out for fans of all ages, and the seating at the Coliseum gives you a few different ways to watch. You can get right up by the glass if you want to be close to the action, or head higher up for a full-ice view of how the game is developing. Whether you're bringing the whole family or just heading in with a few friends, there's a spot that works for how you like to watch hockey.

It all happens at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 300 N Ramsay Wy, Portland, Oregon 97227, on Saturday, October 31. The Winterhawks are Portland's junior ice hockey team and three-time WHL champions.
