Juried miniature art show with exhibits, miniature artists and dealers, workshops and the 'Mini Acres' dollhouse marketplace.
PNW Miniature Shows is taking over the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel from October 16 to 18, and this year is a big one: the show is celebrating 50 years of miniature art. It's billed as a family-fun weekend, and it lives up to that—you can walk through juried exhibits, meet the artists, and shop for miniatures from the makers and dealers on site.
One of the highlights is Mini Acres, a dollhouse marketplace where you can apply to buy or sell a dollhouse, room box, or diorama. If you've got something you're ready to part with, or you're looking for a new piece to add to your collection, that's where you'll find it. There are also miniature creation workshops running throughout the weekend, though they're first-come, first-served—they only run while space and supplies last. The whole thing is part of ADX Fest, a region-wide art and design festival that brings venues, studios, and creative spaces across the Portland metro area to life throughout October 2026, celebrating independent artists, designers, makers, and creatives.
There's a solid lineup of special-guest miniaturists and artists to see, including Lindsay Schitt, Lara Blair, Miriam Stone Wilson (who goes by Miniature Werewolf), Carl Sahlberg, Rachael Harms Mahlandt, Alysha Kaplan, and stop-motion animator Teah Cory. If you're into the process as much as the finished pieces, it's a good chance to see how they work.
