Old Machines, Veriteras, Nocteris

Old Machines are playing the High Water Mark Lounge on Wednesday, October 14, with Veriteras and Nocteris joining them. It's a night of cosmic, symphonic, and melodic metal, and it serves as the kickoff of a mini-tour for Old Machines, who are playing their hometown of Portland alongside two friends.

There's a bit more to this one than just a tour start. Old Machines are playing to Event Horizon, in honor of the late Sam Neil, so the set carries a particular weight to it. It's also their only Portland date of 2026, which makes it the only time they'll be playing here this year. If you've been following them, this is the one night to catch them on home turf.

Veriteras and Nocteris round out the bill, and between the three of them, the evening covers cosmic, symphonic, and melodic metal. It's a heavy lineup from start to finish, and with Old Machines playing to a friend, the whole thing feels more like a community gathering than a standard tour stop.

The show is 21+. Doors open at 8 PM, and Nocteris gets things started at 8:30. The venue is High Water Mark Lounge, 6800 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.
