A sexy Halloween experiential night of dark dance music, ritual theatre and sensual tea lounge at Nova PDX.
Mysterium takes over Nova PDX on Friday, October 30, a femme-led Halloween night that blends dark dance music, ritual theater and a sensual tea lounge. It's hosted by the Shiva Shakti Collective—Mother Void and Mohit Kaura—and kicks off with an intentional invocation of dark feminine energy. The organizers invite you to dress as your most mysterious and magical self, describing the mood as an ethereal, witchy realm of expression and connection through dance and visual delights.
The music comes from four DJs. Lucille Croft is a dark-electrifying DJ and producer from Australia; AKASHAH is a vocalist and dark electronic producer from BC, Canada; Sheena Medicina plays ecstatic dance; and Mother Void brings sensual downtempo dance and violin. They're joined by local dancers and acts Mx Bliss, Agatha Angina, Knotty Devil, Pixie, Vixen and Kendra Wolf, with a ritual prayerformance by IshStar. The night is built to bring together ecstatic and fusion dancers with the kink, goth and EDM communities.
