Maddy Kelly

Maddy Kelly is playing Helium Comedy Club on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 7:30 PM. She's a New York City-based writer and stand-up comedian, originally from Vancouver, and this is part of a tour that runs through 2026. If you've come across her on TikTok, you've probably seen her clips—they've racked up millions of views, and that's where a lot of people first get a sense of her sharp wit.

Beyond the stand-up, she's spent a good deal of her career writing for other people. She wrote for This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Canada's long-running news satire show, and picked up a 2025 Canadian Screen Award for Best Writing in a Variety or Sketch Comedy Program for her work on Check This Out. She's also a co-host and writer for the Webby Award-winning CBC podcast series Let's Make a Sci-Fi, Let's Make a Rom-Com and Let's Make a Horror.

On the stage side, she was named a "New Face of Comedy" at the 2023 Just For Laughs festival. She's appeared on CTV's The Standup Show with Jon Dore and CBC Radio's The Debaters, and was a featured comic at the SXSW comedy festival. This is a solo headlining set, so it's her whole night.

Tickets start at $65, with an average around $77. The show is 21+.
