A Portland night of noise violence, punk/grind and raw d-beat featuring Machine Country, Bottom Blade, Arsenal Mall and Pungence.
Machine Country headlines a four-band bill at The Six Below Midnight on Thursday, October 22, with Bottom Blade, Arsenal Mall and Pungence rounding out the lineup. It's a Portland night of noise violence, punk/grind and raw d-beat, and all four bands are local.
Machine Country works in noise violence, blending powerviolence, experimental noise and dual screamed vocals. Their latest record, Inbred Bastard Killer, came out in March 2026. Bottom Blade is a fast, hostile punk/grind act that pulls from crust, hardcore, powerviolence and metal; their album ATORMENTAR was released in December 2025. Arsenal Mall plays short, furious punk—their 2024 demo ran four tracks in just over six minutes. Pungence describe themselves as "d-beat maniacs from PDX" dealing in raw punk, crust and blown-out hardcore.
