Pop-punk performance by actress and musician Lauren Ash, supported by New Here, at the Holocene venue.
Lauren Ash plays Holocene on Monday, October 19, with New Here opening. If you know her from the screen, this is a different side of her: she's performing as a pop-punk artist, not an actress.
Most of us recognize Ash from TVβshe played Dina on NBC's Superstore and Lexi on ABC's Not Dead Yet. She's also a voice actor, with roles as Scorpia on She Ra and the Princesses of Power, Beryl on Kiff, and Diane on Chicago Party Aunt. She hosts the podcast True Crime and Cocktails and has over 1.5 million followers across her social channels. The music is a pivot she made in 2023, starting with the pop-punk single "Now I Know," which hit #1 on the Canadian iTunes rock chart and #5 on Billboard's Alternative Download Chart.
Her debut album, Call Me When You Get This, came out in September 2025. One of its tracks, "Whiplash," earned a Hollywood Independent Music Award nomination for best rock/pop song. Since then, she's played "Sad This Christmas" on The Kelly Clarkson Show, talked about her music on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and headlined Los Angeles venues like The Viper Room and Whisky A Go Go, following a headlining tour in Canada and a sold-out run in the UK.
