Kids Book Flash Sale

Rose City Reads is holding its biggest sale of the year this weekend, with everything in the kids' section marked down to a single price. It runs Friday, October 9, and Saturday, October 10, from 11 AM to 5 PM at 221 NE 122nd STE A. in Portland.

They've put the entire kids' section into one bracket: board books, picture books, middle readers, and even young adult titles are all $1 each. That means you can pick up a few board books for a toddler, some picture books for a preschooler, and a handful of middle-grade or YA novels for older kids without having to do any math. If you're building a home library or just looking for a few new things to keep a kid reading, it's a good time to stock up.

Admission is free, and the sale is open to all ages, so you can bring the kids along and let them pick out their own books. With everything at a dollar, it's easy to walk away with a stack of titles without spending much.
