If you're not familiar, Iron Chic formed in Huntington Station, Long Island, and they've spent their years since then working across a few different corners of the same world. Their sound sits right in the middle of pop punk, indie, punk, and punk rock—the kind of music that can lean into a hook one minute and a raw, distorted edge the next. It's a broad enough reach that you can find something to hold onto regardless of which of those labels you usually lean toward.
Behind the sound is a five-piece lineup: Gordon Lafler, Jesse Litwa, Mike Bruno, Jason Lubrano, and Phil Douglas. They're the ones who built the band up from that Long Island start, and they're the ones you'll see on stage in Portland. The bill lists them with special guests, so there'll be more than just their set to work through that evening.
