Thrash metal headliners Havok perform with Hellripper, Slackjaw and Xoth at Dante's in Portland.
Havok headline Dante's on Saturday, October 24, bringing their brand of thrash to Portland with three support acts. The Denver thrashers take the top spot on the bill, and they're not coming alone: Hellripper, Slackjaw, and Xoth all open for them, so the night starts well before the main set.
It's a full run of four bands on one bill, and since Havok is headlining, you'll get a good stretch of metal across the whole evening. If you're coming for the headliner, you've still got three other acts to work through first, so it's the kind of night that pays to arrive early if you want to catch everything from the first note.

One thing to keep in mind before you head downtown: the show is strictly 21 and up, so make sure you've got your ID on you. If you're planning to get there for the openers, the doors open at 6 PM and the music starts at 7 PM, which gives you an hour to get settled before the first band takes the stage. The venue is Dante's, at 350 West Burnside Street, right in the heart of downtown Portland. Tickets are $32.42.
