A Halloween-themed dance night curated by What The Dance, featuring DJ babyvanbeezly playing Harry Styles and related pop hits, with costumes encouraged and entry restricted to over-21s.
Harryween is coming to Holocene on Thursday, October 29, a Harry Styles-themed dance night put on by What The Dance. DJ @babyvanbeezly is on the decks, and the night is built around Harry Styles, with his songs making up the bulk of the set. It's a 21+ event, and costumes are encouraged, so it's the kind of night where you can lean into the Halloween side of things.
While Styles is the main focus, the music doesn't stop with him. The set pulls from a whole orbit of pop hits, with Niall Horan, Conan Gray, Olivia Rodrigo, 5SOS, ZAYN, Shawn Mendes, and One Direction all in the mix. If you've spent the last few years following that particular branch of pop, you'll recognize a lot of the names on the list.
What The Dance has been around since 2022, and they describe their parties as celebrations of the artists and albums that make people move. They're calling this one a spooky evening of dancing, disco, and pop at the 'House of Harry.' The venue, Holocene, is in the Central Eastside and has been pairing music with visuals for more than a decade, having turned an old auto-parts warehouse into a 5,000-square-foot space dedicated to art and audio.
