The Harlem Globetrotters bring their Rivalry Tour to Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Sunday, January 31, 2027, as part of their 2027 world tour. They're billing themselves as the team that invented basketball culture, and the tour lives up to that: they'll be taking on the Washington Generals and a new lineup of rivals, so it's the Globetrotters against the Generals and a few other opponents throughout the game.
What they're known for is all there. The game is built around trick shots, dunks, and new game challenges, and the crowd gets involved tooβthey can pull you onto the court, have you join the squad, or put you up on the jumbotron. It's as much a show as it is a game, and it's open to all ages, so it works just as well for a family outing as it does for anyone who just likes the spectacle.
There's more than just the game itself. Every ticket includes a free pre-game tip-off party and the 5th Quarter Autograph Session, where you can meet the players for photos and signatures after the final buzzer. If you want to get closer, there are premium experiences that add court time, access to the pregame warm-ups, and a VIP bench ticket that puts you right beside the players.
