Halloween Bash Dance Party

Underdog Sports Leagues is taking over Wonder Ballroom for a Halloween Bash on Saturday, October 31, and it's more than just a costume party. The night is a celebration of Underdog's 20th anniversary here in Portland, and they're marking the milestone with a live DJ and a costume contest open to anyone who shows up. It's a dance party through and through, and the organizers are leaning into the occasion.

If the name sounds familiar, you probably know Underdog from their 21+ recreational sports leagues. But this isn't just for the people who've played in them. The party is open to everyone, whether you've spent years on their courts or have never even heard of them. It's a wide-open invite, not a private club thing, so you can roll in with friends without needing a sports background to fit in.

There's a bit of history to this one, too. The organizers noted that it's been ten years since their last Bash at Wonder Ballroom, and they remember packing the dance floor to capacity. That's the kind of night they're aiming for again—a full room and a DJ keeping it moving. The costume contest is part of that, and it's open to anyone taking part, free of charge, with no pre-registration required. You just show up in costume and you're in the running.

It all goes down Saturday, October 31, starting at 8 PM at Wonder Ballroom in Portland. Tickets are $28.
