Indie rock concert featuring Francis of Delirium with support from Lucky Star at Show Bar.
Francis of Delirium plays Show Bar at Revolution Hall on Tuesday, October 27, with Lucky Star opening. It's an indie rock bill in the SE, with the show starting at 7:30 PM.
Francis of Delirium is the project of Jana Bahrich, a Luxembourg-based artist who writes, produces, and directs much of the band's work herself. She's been at it since high school, when she put out the 2020 single "Quit Fucking Around," and she's built the catalog in steady increments from there: three EPs—All Change (2020), Wading (2021), and The Funhouse (2022)—and a debut album, Lighthouse, in 2024. The project earned a spot on the 2022 European Songwriting and Composing Awards shortlist.
Live, the band fills out with Jeff Hennico on bass and Denis Schumacher on drums. They've toured Europe and North America playing with Blondshell, Bôa, Horsegirl, Briston Maroney, and Soccer Mommy, and have supported The 1975, Alanis Morissette, Kings of Leon, and Wolf Alice. The new album, Run, Run Pure Beauty, was produced by Bahrich and Chris Hewett and mixed by Nicolas Vernhes, who has worked with Deerhunter and Wild Nothing.
