Trivia night at OMSI's Theory restaurant with the theme Morbid Curiosity, exploring science facts and current events.
OMSI brings back its trivia night, Educated Guess, on Wednesday, October 21, at Theory, the museum's restaurant. It's a multi-round, interactive game run by an OMSI host, and the questions pull from science facts, current events, pop culture, and scientific discovery. You'll want to put a team together before you go: they're limited to four players, so grab a few friends and see how your combined knowledge stacks up against the rest of the room.
This edition is titled Morbid Curiosity, and it leans into the stranger, darker side of science. The rounds focus on monstrous beasts, death and decay, and creepy crawliesโthe kind of stuff that's a bit unsettling but hard to look away from. If you've ever spent too much time reading about deep-sea creatures or the way things break down, this is your night to actually get points for it.
Since it's held at Theory, you can eat and drink while you play. Pizza and salads are on the menu, and the bar is open to guests 21 and over. If you're coming with a group, it's an easy way to spend a Wednesday evening without having to leave the building for dinner. Parking is $2 plus fees via the Parking Kitty app.
