Disney On Ice - Jump In!

Disney On Ice brings its latest production, Jump In!, to the Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Thursday, October 15. It's the first of a four-night run that goes through October 18, so you've got a few dates to choose from if that first one doesn't fit your schedule.

Jump In! is a FELD Entertainment production that puts more than 50 Disney characters on the ice. The show mixes figure skating, acrobatics, and music to bring them to life. This particular run adds a few newer faces to the mix: characters from Moana 2 and Anxiety from Inside Out 2 both make an appearance, so you'll see some of the more recent additions alongside the ones that have been around for years.

It's a long-running tradition, too. Disney On Ice has been touring for 40 years, starting back in 1987 when it debuted in Japan with Happy Birthday Donald. These days, they send eight to eleven companies on the road every year, and more than 320 million people have seen them. The Portland stop is at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, known around the city as the 'Glass Palace' in the Rose Quarter, which is billed as one of the nation's favorite venues for premier entertainment.

Tickets start at $50 USD, with prices varying by seating section. The show runs from October 15 through October 18, so you can pick the night that works best for you.
