Metalcore and deathcore concert featuring Born of Osiris, Miss May I, Convictions and Downswing at the Hawthorne Theatre.
Born of Osiris play the Hawthorne Theatre on Tuesday, December 8, as part of The Perpetual Iron Tour. They're sharing the bill with Miss May I, Convictions, and Downswing, so it's a full night of metalcore and deathcore rather than a single act. The show starts at 8 PM.
Born of Osiris are a Chicago quintet that's been around since 2007. They've put out four consecutive Billboard Top 200 albums, including 2019's The Simulation through Sumerian Records. Back in 2017, they spent a tour playing their 2007 debut, The New Reign, in its entirety, so they're as comfortable with their early material as they are with the newer stuff. The current lineup is Ronnie Canizaro on lead vocals, Joe Buras on keys and synthesizers, Lee McKinney on guitar, Nick Rossi on bass, and Cameron Losch on drums. Rossi stepped in after original bassist David Da Rocha left.
With Miss May I, Convictions, and Downswing on the bill, the night is built around the same heavy, riff-driven sound. It's a four-band lineup, so you'll be there for the openers as much as the headliner. The Hawthorne is at 1507 SE Cesar E. Chavez in Portland.

Tickets are $39.99, and there's one detail you can't skip: this is a strictly 21-and-over show, so you'll need a valid photo ID at the door. Doors are at 8 PM.
