Babehoven

Babehoven play the Show Bar at Revolution Hall on Wednesday, November 18, starting at 8 PM. The band comes from Hudson, New York, led by singer-songwriter Maya Bon and collaborator Ryan Albert.

Their sound pulls from a few different places at once: hyper-melodic indie and folk rock mixed with shoegaze and country touches. They've released two albums so far, Light Moving Time and Water's Here In You, and the songwriting across both tends to lean toward introspection and connection. Live, they build on the nuanced soundscapes of those records with dynamic arrangements and vocal harmonies.

It's worth knowing where in the building this is happening. The Show Bar is the smaller, more focused room inside Revolution Hall, which puts you closer to the stage than the main hall does.
