A day for prospective students to explore the University of Plymouth campus, attend talks, and visit facilities including the Wave Tank and Student Village.
University of Plymouth is holding its undergraduate open days on Saturday 26 September, Saturday 17 October, and Saturday 14 November, with sessions running from 09:00 to 15:30. It's a city campus, so you're right in the thick of things rather than tucked away on the outskirts, and the whole point is to get you on site to see the place and speak with the people who'll actually be teaching you.
There's a fair bit to pick from across the day. You'll find welcome talks to get you oriented, finance talks that go over student loans, and subject-specific sessions where you can get into the detail of the course you're looking at. There are also drop-in visits, including a look at the Wave Tank in the Marine Building, and tours of the Student Village and student accommodation, so you can see where you'd actually be living. If you're coming from a non-standard qualification, there's application advice on hand to help you figure out your route in.

It's worth keeping in mind that this isn't a one-off; with three dates spread across autumn, you can pick the one that works best for you. If you're coming from further afield, the university helps with travel costs, which is a handy bit of support to have in the back of your mind. The campus is at University of Plymouth, Plymouth, Devon, PL4 8AA, and you can reach them on 01752 585858 if you've got questions before you head down. Sessions run from 09:00 to 15:30 on all three dates: Saturday 26 September, Saturday 17 October, and Saturday 14 November.
