Live music night featuring Dredge, The Other Woman, Kid Hyena and DJ sets at Cafe Momus.
The Last Club On Earth returns to Cafe Momus on Saturday 15 August for its fourth edition, a night that brings together four acts across the bill. It runs from 19:00 to 23:30, with the live music starting at 20:00.
Dredge open the night at 20:00. They describe themselves as an unabashedly queer and anti-fascist fusion of doom, sludge and hardcore, so expect the heavier end of the spectrum to kick things off. At 20:45, The Other Woman take over. They're an all-female, three-piece dream pop band from Cornwall who list The Cranberries, The Sundays, Cocteau Twins and Big Thief as influences, and they've featured on BBC Introducing and Boardmasters.
Kid Hyena headline at 22:00. They're urban-folk renegades who have played stages including Glastonbury and Boomtown, and the BBC once called them 'a call of arms to the heart'. After they finish, the night shifts to the decks with DJ Stacker and DJ Max Passion playing from 23:00 until the end.

The whole thing is billed as a celebration of independent, original and alternative music, and Cafe Momus is one of the city's alternative spots. The night runs from 19:00 to 23:30 at 14-17 Manor Street, PL1 1TL, with the live acts starting at 20:00.
