Two-day indie and rock music festival held at The Depo, featuring Kyle Falconer, The Molotovs, The Velvet Hands, Colour TV, Haytor and The Rhodes, with afterparties.
Sound Factory Festival takes over The Depo on Union Street on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 July, a two-day indie and rock festival with a different line-up each night. It's a live music event rather than a single concert, with multiple acts across the weekend and a DJ afterparty running from 11 pm to 2 am on both nights, which is strictly 18+.

Friday 10 July is the shorter of the two days, with Kyle Falconer taking the stage. He's best known as the frontman of The View, so if you've followed the Scottish indie scene since the mid-2000s, you'll know exactly where he fits in. He'll be playing as a solo act, which gives the night a different feel from the full band sound of his early records.
Saturday 11 July is the bigger half of the weekend, with a full run of bands. The Molotovs lead the way, followed by The Velvet Hands, Colour TV, Haytor, and The Rhodes. It's a proper indie-rock bill, with five acts in one night, so if you're into that side of things, Saturday is where the bulk of the live music is. Between the two days, you've got a mix of a solo headliner on Friday and a multi-band line-up on Saturday.
Both days are ticketed, and there are Early Bird tickets available if you want to get in a bit cheaper. The festival runs across the 10th and 11th, so you can pick one night or do the whole weekend. The afterparty runs until 2 am both nights, which is the 18+ part of the event. The Depo is at 33 Union Street in Plymouth.
