Three acts share the bill. Busta Groove open from 11:30 to 13:00; they're a South Devon duo who mix classics with more modern tracks. The Two Bit Troubadours take over from 13:30 to 15:00; they're a duo from the South West who keep American roots music alive, with Hillbilly Blues at the heart of it. Holloway follow on from 15:30 to 16:00, a shoegaze and indie rock band with songs like Sunburn, Plans To Make and Babydarling.
All three are part of Plymouth City Centre New Music 2026, a programme supporting eight young emerging artists aged 16 to 25. Each act gets a slot to play live, the chance to record a single, a launch workshop and mentoring along the way. It's a good way to catch them before they've fully stepped out on their own.
Because it's music in the open air in the city centre, it's free to stop and listen. The music runs from 10:30 until 15:00, with Busta Groove starting at 11:30, The Two Bit Troubadours at 13:30 and Holloway at 15:30.
