A day festival with live reggae, DJs, Caribbean food and premium rum cocktails at Home Park Stadium.
The Rum and Reggae Festival takes over the Home Park Stadium fan zone on Saturday 11 July, from 14:00 to 22:00. It's a full day of live reggae and DJs, and it's set up in the fan zone outside the stadium, the home of Plymouth Argyle Football Club.
On the music side, the bill features The Leagues of Rebelz and The Datura Roots Collective, with a special guest still to be announced and a DJ to keep things moving between the live sets. It's a day festival, so you're not just popping in for a single gig; the music runs across the afternoon and into the evening.
There's a strong Caribbean thread running through the rest of it. The food is festival street food, with jerk chicken on the menu, and the first people through the gates get free Turtle Bay chicken wings. The rum side comes from Vault 53, a premium rum made right here in Plymouth, which serves as the base for the day's cocktails.
