Two days of live music, local food and festival atmosphere at Brickfields Stadium in Plymouth.
Ruckus Music Festival returns to Brickfields Stadium on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 July, bringing two days of live music to Plymouth in the middle of summer. It's a full-day affair both days, running from 12:00 to 22:00, so you can settle in for the whole thing rather than just popping in for a single set. Between the stages, there'll be local food and a drinks bar on site, and the whole thing is set up as a festival rather than a series of separate gigs.
The line-up is headed by The Feeling, The Specials and Elvana, with a full bill still to be announced. The Feeling bring their polished pop-rock, The Specials their ska roots, and Elvana their high-energy take on the genre, so the two days cover a fair bit of ground. There's a good mix of eras and styles across the three, and with the full line-up coming soon, there'll be more to add to the bill before July.
If you're planning your weekend, it helps to know how the tickets work. Friday is £25 for adults and £10 for under-18s. Saturday is a bit more: £35 for adults and £10 for under-18s, with a VIP option for £75 if you want something extra. If you're going both days, a two-day ticket is £50, which works out cheaper than buying the two days separately. Early Bird pricing is running low, so if you're keen, it's worth sorting your tickets sooner rather than later.
